Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) offers in and out-of-network reimbursement. Your insurance policy may cover a portion or all of your visit. I can provide you with paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. 

Do not forget about Health Savings accounts or Flex spending accounts that you can use to cover your visits. I can provide you with receipts as needed.

Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments

At Advanced Mental Health and Wellness, appointment times are reserved specifically for each patient. When an appointment is missed without notice or canceled with less than 48 hours notice, it prevents another patient from utilizing that appointment time and impacts access to care for individuals waiting for services.

In addition, significant administrative time and resources are dedicated to preparing, coordinating, confirming, and managing appointments, including provider scheduling, insurance verification, chart preparation, staffing allocation, and maintaining appointment availability. Late cancellations and no-show appointments result in unrecoverable time and operational costs for the practice.

Late cancellations and missed appointments are not billable to your insurance company. When you make an appointment with me, you are reserving and purchasing that dedicated appointment time specifically for you. You are financially responsible for that reserved time unless the appointment is canceled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

The following flat-rate fees may apply for appointments canceled with less than 48 hours notice or for no call/no show appointments:

• Intake appointments: $300.00
• Hour appointments: $150.00
• 30-minute appointments: $75.00

These fees cannot be billed to insurance and are the responsibility of the patient.

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may occasionally arise, and situations may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the practice. We kindly ask patients to provide as much notice as possible if they are unable to attend their scheduled appointment.
